Skate/Fashion Photography
For my first idea I plan to advertise the skate company DGK. I this advert I will shoot in the studio. I want the advert to look like a normal photo shoot gotten out of hand with one of the models spray painting the infinity wall and the other model skating in the foreground of the image. The advert will still advertise the company with the spray paint being the DGK logo and the model wearing on of there t-shirts. The model that is skating will remind the viewer that it is still a skate company not just a street fashion brand.
The spray painting will not actually be vandalising the infinity wall, the paint will be super imposed.
Ideas for the spray paint logo on the infinity wall (Images below)

My second idea came together by accident. I was doing a practise shoot for my DGK idea out side as the studio wasn't free. I was trying out some ideas and seeing if the spray paint idea would work, I also used this opportunity to test out the location lighting as I had never used it out door before.
I chose an interesting textured black background and began shooting. My model was wearing a black Deathwish hoody (a well know skate brand) with day glow lettering and a large spray painted pentagram on the back.

I began shooting trying different light intensities, positions etc with the location light. Earlier in the day I had been researching how different coloured lighting can effect an image after seeing a beautiful portrait on a friends Tumblr (image on the right). I researched an the image but couldn't find any an artist. So while I was shooting I decided to go back and get one of the gels that are used to alter the colours of the lights. I got a friend to hold the gel over the light while was shooting and it worked PERFECTLY. It gave the images a brilliant green glow which complemented the green of the models hoody really well.
The dark yet textured back ground went so well with the green flash the parts that the light hit created an interesting texture too look at and the darker sections went almost totally black.
The images for the shoot werent even supposed to be used but not I feel I have to use them for my fashion advert.

Food Photography
My first idea for my food advert is to focus on produce instead of a whole meal.
While I was walking the other day I noticed there was loads of watercress growing in a stream. I thought this would be a great opportunity to show produce going straight from the land to the table.
I photographed the watercress in the stream trying to get the right shot, really thinking about the advertising side of things. Contemplating how to set up the shots and creating the in such a way that they would complement the later images in the advert.
I took a collection of images (the images bellow) trying different styles so that I would have a selection for the advert.
Smoking Awareness
My first idea for smoking awareness is to show a person rolling a cigarette with a £20 note, showing how you are wasting/ burning through you money.
My second idea is to show a person holding a lit cigarette but the paper of the cigarette is replaced with a £50 note.
